According to Mr. Stephen Okhutu, the founder and CEO of Bookablehood Ltd, achieving an ISO certification is a great milestone achieved by the company. He revealed that due to the global nature of the business, the company has been facing challenges in promoting Tulavo to international travellers due to the market which is characterised by poor quality services in Ugandan. He noted that this has been preventing foreign travellers from booking through Tulavo for lack of trust in African brands.
“We are facing stiff competition with global brands and in order for us to compete favourably with these brands we should ensure at all time that we are delivering services at an internationally accepted quality standard. The ISO certification is now proof to the world that we are the best standard on Ugandan market”, Mr. Okhutu noted.
Tulavo is a Ugandan hotel booking platform for affordable travel accommodation.
“ISO 9001 is a quality management system that we have integrated into our business.
