Health & Safety

• Stay with the group—Follow your guide at all times, especially in busy markets and crowded areas.
• Watch your belongings—Keep valuables (phones, wallets, passports) secure and out of sight. Use a cross-body bag or money belt. Pickpocketing can occur in busy markets.
• Avoid displaying wealth — Do not flash expensive jewellery, cameras, or large amounts of cash.
• Transport — The tour includes guided transport. Avoid accepting rides from unofficial taxis or boda-bodas (motorcycle taxis) on your own.
• Crowds during AFCON — Expect larger crowds near stadiums and popular areas. Stay alert and stick close to your guide.
• Night-time — This is a daytime tour. If you plan to continue into the evening, use trusted transport and avoid walking alone in unfamiliar areas after dark.
